Liverpool Chamber of Commerce launched its Baltic Business Hub yesterday

Liverpool Chamber of Commerce launched its Baltic Business Hub yesterday (Thursday 31st January 2019), its second hub within the city designed to provide a monthly focal point for support, networking and engagement.

The Baltic campus will host the Chamber for a day of action every month with tenants benefitting from a demand-led programme of workshops, seminars, business clinics and networking events. An international trade support programme will also underpin the upcoming programme.

The programme has been created through close collaboration between the Chamber and the operational team at Baltic Creative, who are one of the Chamber's Strategic Partners

The first day of action included a special ‘#WellConnected’ introductory breakfast and BxC networking session, followed by two sold-out seminars relating to digital marketing and social media management. Alison Edward-Smith and Isa Sher from We are Hype held a Marketing & Brand workshop followed in the afternoon by a Social Media workshop led by Mark Russell from bmicro.

Baltic Creative CEO Mark Lawler said: “Baltic Creative are incredibly excited to embark on a 2 year Strategic Partnership with Liverpool and Sefton Chambers of Commerce. This partnership will enable us to continue to support the Creative Digital sector through bespoke workshops and networking - all with the help of expert partners sourced by ourselves and through LSCoC Membership and Network.”

Speaking about the creation of the new hub, Chamber CEO Paul Cherpeau said: “Creating our business hubs has been a conscious strategic decision to enable us to provide added-value to our members in different localities around the city. Our first hub at the Crowne Plaza - John Lennon airport has been a great success and we look forward to providing great content and value to businesses participating in the Baltic Business Hub.”

The Baltic Business Hub will take place on the last Thursday of every month and will feature content that is available to Baltic tenants and members of the Chamber and will be developed based upon feedback received from tenants.
